USA 500k CTS Push n Pull Potentiometer x 1, Split Shaft. Switchcraft USA Right Angle 3 Way Toggle Switch. Sprague Orange Drop Capacitor x 1, Size 0.022uF. Gavitt USA Cloth Covered Wire. Tinned Copper “Buss” Ground Wire. Heatshrink Insulation Sleeving. Mounted on a 3D Printed Wiring Template. Pots supplied with Nut, Flat Dress Washer & Locking Star Washer. Treble Bleed Option (there are 2 with this harness) A Treble Bleed takes the high treble tone frequencies out of the circuit at the volume pot and puts them back in the circuit as the signal leaves the volume pot. The result is a smoothed out treble and a more uniform tone from 1 to 10. Reducing the treble drop out as the volume pot rolls off. If you like the idea of retaining treble as you roll your volume pot down, then a treble bleed is for you. For the Treble Bleed Kit we use a 0.001uf Sprague Orange Drop Capacitor and a 120 Kilohms Metal Film Resistor. Switch Option We use Switchcraft (USA) Switches which are the best. There are a few variations on this model depending on year, so we have 3 options, Right Angle and Short Frame with a standard fixing nut and Long Frame with a Extended Deep Thread Nut. Our pre-wired PRS DGT Vintage Wiring Harness with Coil Split is wired to fit genuine PRS models. If installing into an imported model / DIY guitar kit you will need to ensure the Potentiometer holes will take CTS pots (approx 10mm). This can be done using a round file or carefully with a 10mm drill. Centre to centre measurements between components Centre of Bridge Volume Pot to centre of Neck Volume Pot – 50mm. Centre of Neck Volume Pot to centre of Master tone pot – 50mm. Centre of Master tone pot to 3 Way Toggle Switch – 50mm. Measurements can sometimes vary slightly on some PRS DGT models, so we allow plenty of movement in wire lengths between components to allow for a comfortable fit. If your measurements are different from the above, please let us know and we will build your harness to your specifications. Switch Tip The USA 3 Way Switch requires a Switch Tip that has a imperial thread. If you are replacing a cheaper switch in your guitar the tip will not fit as it will be a metric thread.
