This is a Professional PRS wiring harness using the very best in components to enhance the quality of tone and sound output from your guitar. Components USA 500k CTS Potentiometers x 4, Split Shafts. Sprague Orange Drop Capacitors x 2, Size 0.022uF. Tinned Copper “Buss” Ground Wire. Heatshrink Insulation Sleeving. Mounted on a 3D Printed Wiring Template. Treble Bleed Option x 2 A Treble Bleed takes the high treble tone frequencies out of the circuit at the volume pot and puts them back in the circuit as the signal leaves the volume pot. The result is a smoothed out treble and a more uniform tone from 1 to 10. Reducing the treble drop out as the volume pot rolls off. If you like the idea of retaining treble as you roll your volume pot down, then a treble bleed is for you. For the Treble Bleed Kit we use a 0.001uf Sprague Orange Drop Capacitor and a 120 Kilohms Metal Film Resistor. Controls Volume 1 – Bridge. Volume 2 – Neck. Tone 1 – Bridge. Tone 2 – Neck. Will this fit my guitar? Our pre-wired PRS Wiring harness is wired to fit all genuine PRS McCarty models. If installing into an imported model or a DIY guitar kit you will need to ensure the Potentiometer holes will take CTS pots (approx 10mm). This can be done using a round file or carefully with a 10mm drill. Centre to centre measurements between components Centre of neck volume pot and neck tone pot – 65mm. Centre of neck volume pot and bridge volume pot – 50mm. Centre of neck tone pot and bridge tone pot – 50mm. Centre of bridge volume pot and bridge tone pot – 65mm. Measurements can sometimes vary slightly on some PRS McCarty models, so we allow plenty of movement in wire lengths between components to allow for a comfortable fit. If your measurements are different from the above, please let us know and we will build your harness to your specifications.
